Nail Surgery

Ingrown toenail surgery is a minor yet effective procedure designed to alleviate pain and discomfort caused by an ingrown toenail. This condition occurs when the edges of the toenail grow into the surrounding skin, often leading to redness, swelling, infection, or difficulty walking.

The surgery is performed under local anaesthesia, ensuring minimal pain during the process. Depending on the severity, the podiatrist may remove part of the nail (partial nail avulsion) or, in more persistent cases, the entire nail (total nail avulsion).

At the inital appointment we will go through the proceedure and discuss any concerns you may have. During this initial assessment we will arrange a suitable time for the proceedure to take place.
